This is a particularly useful book for those new to Sarajevo. It has been compiled by those living here to list information which is not contained in general tourist type guides. Those organisations which recruit internationals could provide new staff with a copy as a welcome to the city and to assist with the settling in process. Health care: Includes emergency health terms in Bosnian, phone numbers of a range of health practitioners as well as hospitals and clinics.
Services: Listed in alphabetical order from auto alarms through to watch repairs and everything in between.
Shopping: Especially useful for tips on items not generally available in most stores.
Sport and Recreation: Contacts for activities and sports for all the family and reliable companies who offer guided experiences to discover the natural beauty of BiH.
Culture and Entertainment: In addition to the museums, galleries and cinemas, details about keeping in contact with festivals and on-line tourist information.
Accommodation and Transport: Lists travel options around BiH and in/out of the country. A map of the town centre and public transport routes is now included.
