IWCS invited embassies who gave their support to the IWCS Bazaar to a thank you coffee which took place in the Portuguese Residence in early February to celebrate our joint success in raising more than 100,000 KM at our Dom Mladih Bazaar in December 2009.

 

The Embassy which raised most funds at the Bazaar was the Slovenian Embassy. In second position was the French Embassy and, in third position, the Greek embassy. Our thanks also go to the 16 embassies including U.K., Italy, Switzerland, USA, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Malaysia, Turkey, China, Egypt, Portugal, Palestine, and Russia for their significant contributions.

 

Ambassadors and Ambassadors’ wives reiterated their support for the work of IWC and we were able to celebrate our joint success as well as present our projects. We also looked to put in place joint tasks such as the distribution of food parcels to poor families, which is something IWC does on an annual basis.
